Arthur Patrick Hastings Forbes, 9th Earl of Granard AFC, was a British peer.

León Esteban Febres-Cordero Ribadeneyra, known in the Ecuadorian media as LFC or more simply by his composed surname (Febres-Cordero), was the 35th President of Ecuador, serving a four-year term from 10 August 1984 to 10 August 1988. During his presidency he sought to introduce market-oriented reforms, and also led a security crackdown on a guerrilla group named ¡Alfaro Vive, Carajo!.

Peter Steen was a Danish film actor. Steen was born in Randers, Denmark, and appeared in over 50 films from 1964 onwards. In 2004 Steen won a Bodil Award as best supporting actor for the 2003 film Arven.

Ayako Miura was a Japanese novelist. She published over eighty works of both fiction and non-fiction. Many of her works are considered best-sellers, and a number have been remade as feature-length films.
