Agustín Almodóvar Caballero is a film producer and younger brother of filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar. He was born in Calzada de Calatrava and obtained a degree in chemistry from the Complutense University of Madrid. He began his career in film production as a messenger in Fernando Trueba's film Sé infiel y no mires con quién. In 1986, he and Pedro founded their own production company, El Deseo S.A. Through this company he has produced all of Pedro's films since 1986, and several French co-productions. He is a member of the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Spain.

Paul Hermann Müller also known as Pauly Mueller was a Swiss chemist who received the 1948 Nobel prize in Physiology or Medicine for his 1939 discovery of insecticidal qualities and use of DDT in the control of vector diseases such as malaria and yellow fever.

He started his sports career in the early 2000s by joining Mapei–Quick-Step (2000–2002), UCI ProTeam directed by Patrick Lefevere. Within Mapei-Quick Step and then its successor team Quick-Step–Innergetic (2003–2005), Luca Paolini achieved several victories. Among them were first places at Gran Premio di Lugano, Giro del Piemonte and Gran Premio Bruno Beghelli. He has also won stages at Tour of Britain and Tour de Wallonie.
