Marouane Chamakh is a former professional footballer who played as a forward. He is described as a prototypical target man and is noted for his "link-up play", "tall stature" and "excellent heading ability". Chamakh is also Bordeaux’s eighth highest goalscorer of all-time.

Maria Antónia Palla is a feminist, journalist and writer who was one of the first female journalists in Portugal. She played an important role in the legalization of abortion in the country, having been taken to court for a television programme she produced on the topic. In 2004 Palla was awarded the title of Commander of the Order of Liberty.

Leonid Makarovych Kravchuk is a former Ukrainian politician and the first President of Ukraine, who served from 5 December 1991 until 19 July 1994. He is also a former Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada and People's Deputy of Ukraine serving in the Social Democratic Party of Ukraine (united) faction.

Sunderlal Bahuguna is an Indian noted Garhwali environmentalist and Chipko movement leader. The idea of Chipko movement was of his wife and the action was taken by him. For years he has been fighting for the preservation of forests in the Himalayas, first as a member of the Chipko movement in the 1970s, and later spearheaded the Anti-Tehri Dam movement starting 1980s, to early 2004. He was one of the early environmentalists of India, and later he and people associated with the Chipko movement started taking up environmental issues, like against large dams.

Ivan Valentinovich Golunov is a Russian investigative journalist and anti-corruption reporter currently working for independent outlet Meduza. He came to public attention in June 2019 when he was arrested and charged with drug-related crime by the Moscow police; he was later released after widespread public outcry, which alleged that the case was fabricated to silence Golunov's investigations into corruption. Golunov's arrest has attracted much attention from the Russian internet and social media community and has spurred criticism of abuse of power by the police.

Ben Volavola is an Australian-born Fijian international rugby union footballer who plays for French Pro D2 team USA Perpignan. He has previously played for Super Rugby clubs such as the Waratahs, Crusaders, and most recently the Rebels. Volavola can play as either a fly-half or full back.

The former beauty queen from Chesapeake, Virginia is a James Madison University journalism graduate who won the Miss Virginia USA crown in late 1993. Representing Virginia in the Miss USA 1994 pageant, Southall placed first runner-up to Lu Parker of South Carolina.

Maon Kurosaki is a Japanese singer and songwriter signed to NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan. After being discovered while working as a performer in Akihabara, Tokyo, she made her major debut in 2010, performing ending themes to the anime television series Highschool of the Dead. She released her debut album H.O.T.D. in September 2010, which features the ending themes from Highschool of the Dead. Her first two singles were used as ending themes to the anime television series A Certain Magical Index II.
