Osamu Hamanaka is a former Japanese professional baseball player. Drafted by the Hanshin Tigers in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball in 1996, Hamanaka spent 11 years with the club from 1997 to 2007. Following his time with Hanshin, Hamanaka spent three seasons with the Orix Buffaloes from 2008 to 2010 and one season with the Tokyo Yakult Swallows in 2011. In November 2014 it was announced that Hamanaka had signed a contract to return to Hanshin as a batting coach for the farm team.

Perrine Marie Pelen is a former World Cup alpine ski racer from France. Born at Boulogne-Billancourt near Paris, she made her World Cup debut at age 16 in December 1976 and won three slalom races that 1977 season.

In the group stage, she was defeated by Liang Xiaoyu 21-7-21-15, and by Sung Ji-hyun 21-13, 21-14.

Bedrettin Dalan is a Turkish engineer, former politician and the first mayor of Greater Istanbul. He is the founder of İSTEK Vakfı, a foundation for education and culture, and Yeditepe University in Istanbul.

Chiyonokuni Toshiki is a Japanese professional sumo wrestler from Iga, Mie. Making his professional debut in May 2006, he reached the top makuuchi division for the first time in January 2012. He has a highest rank of maegashira 1, but he has also been restricted by injuries, falling to the sandanme division in 2015 before staging a comeback, and then once again having serious injury in 2019 sending him down the ranks, before making another comeback. He is a member of Kokonoe stable.

Veronika Velez-Zuzulová is a retired Slovakian alpine ski racer. Born in Bratislava, she specialised in the slalom and is the most successful Slovak alpine skier in recent years. She was coached by her father, Timotej Zuzula, and Vladimír Kovár. In April 2012, she married coach Romain Velez and added her maiden name to her married name becoming Velez-Zuzulová.
