Anne Clarissa Eden, Countess of Avon is the widow of Anthony Eden, 1st Earl of Avon (1897–1977), who was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1955 to 1957. She married Eden in 1952, becoming Lady Eden in 1954 when he was made a Knight of the Garter, before becoming Countess of Avon in 1961 on her husband's being created an earl. She is also the niece of Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Her memoir, sub-titled From Churchill to Eden, was published in 2007 under the name of Clarissa Eden.

Shaquem Alphonso Griffin is an American football linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He is the twin brother of Seahawks cornerback Shaquill Griffin, and both brothers played college football for the University of Central Florida Knights. As an amputee with one hand when he was 4 years old, Griffin received extensive media coverage as a prospective 2018 NFL Draft pick. He was selected as a fifth round pick by the Seahawks on April 28, 2018, reuniting him with Shaquill.

William Donald Grigg is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for League One club Milton Keynes Dons, on loan from Sunderland. Grigg is also a Northern Ireland senior international.

Her success continued with the soundtrack for the motion picture The Goonies and her second record True Colors (1986). This album included the number one single "True Colors" and "Change of Heart", which peaked at number three. In 1989, she had a hit with a cover of Roy Orbison's "I Drove All Night".

Sergei Viktorovich Skripal is a former Russian military intelligence officer who acted as a double agent for the UK's intelligence services during the 1990s and early 2000s. In December 2004, he was arrested by Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) and later tried, convicted of high treason, and sentenced to 13 years in prison. He settled in the UK in 2010 following the Illegals Program spy swap. He holds both Russian and British citizenship.
