Anitere Flores is a Republican politician from Miami, Florida. She served three terms in the Florida House of Representatives from 2004 to 2010. Subsequently, she served in the Florida Senate from 2010 to 2020. In the 2016–18 legislative session, Flores served as president pro tempore of the Senate.

General Djoko Santoso was an Indonesian army officer. He was Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army from 2005 to 2007. He was then appointed as the Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, in which office he served from 2007 until his retirement in 2010.

Hendrik Frensch Verwoerd, also commonly referred to as Dr. H.F. Verwoerd, was a South African politician, a scholar of applied psychology and sociology, and chief editor of "Die Transvaler" news paper. Verwoerd played an instrumental role in socially engineering apartheid, the country's system of institutionalized racial segregation and white supremacy, and implementing its policies as Minister of Native Affairs (1950–1958) and then as prime minister (1958–1966). Furthermore, Verwoerd played a vital role in helping the far-right National Party come to power in 1948, serving as their political strategist and propagandist, becoming party leader upon his premiership. He was the Union of South Africa's last prime minister, from 1958 to 1961, when he proclaimed the founding of the Republic of South Africa, remaining its prime minister until his assassination in 1966.

Wolfgang Bötsch was a German politician, representative of the Christian Social Union of Bavaria. Between 1974 and 1976 he represented the Landtag of Bavaria. From 1976 to 2005 he was a member of the Bundestag, and between 1993 and 1997 he was the last Minister of Post and Telecommunications. Bötsch died on 14 October 2017 at the age of 79.
