Wacław Piotr Rzewuski (1706–1779) was a Polish dramatist and poet as well as a military commander and a Grand Crown Hetman. As a notable nobleman and magnate, Rzewuski held a number of important posts in the administration of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth.

Michael Alfred Gartner is a Canadian former professional ice hockey right winger who played 19 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Washington Capitals, Minnesota North Stars, New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs and Phoenix Coyotes. He also played one season in the defunct World Hockey Association for the Cincinnati Stingers. In 2017 Gartner was named one of the '100 Greatest NHL Players' in history.

Dörte Thümmler is a German former gymnast. She competed for the SC Dynamo Berlin / Sportvereinigung (SV) Dynamo, and competed for East Germany. She won many international competitions. In 1987, she was World Champion on the uneven bars.

Carl Djerassi was an Austrian-born Bulgarian-American chemist, novelist, playwright and co-founder of Djerassi Resident Artists Program with Diane Wood Middlebrook. He is best known for his contribution to the development of oral contraceptive pills, nicknamed the father of the pill.

Jae-Hoon Ha is a South Korean professional baseball pitcher for the SSG Landers of the KBO. He was formerly an outfielder for the Tokushima Indigo Socks of Shikoku Island League Plus but converted to pitching full-time when he joined the KBO.
