Carlos Arthur Thiré
Carlos Arthur Thiré was a Brazilian set designer, filmmaker, costume designer, painter and comics artist. He was married to actress Tônia Carrero and father of actor Cecil Thiré. He began his career as an illustrator in the 1930s at the newspaper A Noite, having been nominated to this work by Júlio César de Mello e Souza, a family friend. Thiré created the comics strip Raffles, whose comic books were published by Adolfo Aizen at Grande Consórcio de Suplementos Nacionais publishing house. He also created comics for the magazine O Tico-Tico, but, around the 1940s, he left comics to focus on his work as an actor and, later, in 1949, as a set designer, screenwriter and director at Companhia Cinematográfica Vera Cruz. In 1998, he was posthumously awarded with the Prêmio Angelo Agostini for Master of National Comics, an award that aims to honor artists who have dedicated themselves to Brazilian comics for at least 25 years.
Coline Devillard
Coline Devillard is a French artistic gymnast. Devillard is the 2017 European Champion and 2019 European silver medalist on vault. She was the first French female gymnast to win the European title on vault. She was part of the French team that won silver at the 2018 European Championships which was France's best European team finish ever.
Gheorghe Popescu
Gheorghe "Gică" Popescu is a retired Romanian former professional football defender, former captain of FC Barcelona and key part of the Romania national team in the 1990s. He played for a string of European clubs in that period, including a four-year stint at PSV Eindhoven and winning the Uefa cup with Galatasaray SK. His tactical knowledge as a defender made him a valuable team member in top European competitions until he reached his late-thirties. Beside from his defending skills, he was also capable starting attacks. He is the brother-in-law of fellow Romanian international Gheorghe Hagi.

Abdullah Ibrahim
Abdullah Ibrahim is a South African pianist and composer. His music reflects many of the musical influences of his childhood in the multicultural port areas of Cape Town, ranging from traditional African songs to the gospel of the AME Church and Ragas, to more modern jazz and other Western styles. Ibrahim is considered the leading figure in the subgenre of Cape jazz. Within jazz, his music particularly reflects the influence of Thelonious Monk and Duke Ellington. He is known especially for "Mannenberg", a jazz piece that became a notable anti-apartheid anthem.
