Girart de Roussillon, also called Girard, Gérard II, Gyrart de Vienne, and Girart de Fraite, was a Burgundian chief who became Count of Paris in 837, and embraced the cause of Lothair I against Charles the Bald. He was a son of Leuthard I, Count of Fézensac and of Paris, and his wife Grimildis.

Lucius Marcius Philippus was a Roman politician who was elected suffect consul in 38 BC. He was step-brother to the future emperor Augustus.

Álmos, also Almos or Almus, was — according to the uniform account of Hungarian chronicles — the first head of the "loose federation" of the Hungarian tribes from around 850. Whether he was the sacred ruler (kende) of the Hungarians, or their military leader (gyula) is subject to scholarly debate. He apparently accepted the Khazar khagan's suzerainty in the first decade of his reign, but the Hungarians acted independently of the Khazars from around 860. The 14th-century Illuminated Chronicle narrates that he was murdered in Transylvania at the beginning of the Hungarian conquest of the Carpathian Basin around 895.

Sonia Grande is a Spanish costume designer. She is known for her frequent collaborations with film director Woody Allen on such films as Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Midnight in Paris, as well as her work on Fernando Trueba's The Girl of Your Dreams, for which she won Best Costume Design at the 13th Annual Goya Awards.
