Nicholas James MacDonald Patrick, Ph.D., is a British-American engineer and a former NASA astronaut. His flight on the 2006 Discovery STS-116 mission made him the fourth person born in the United Kingdom to go into space.

Archbishop Edmundo Ponziano Valenzuela Mellid SDB is a Roman Catholic missionary currently serving in Paraguay as the sixth Metropolitan Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Asunción. On February 13, 2006 he was appointed by Pope Benedict XVI as Apostolic Vicar to Chaco Paraguayo, an area with a population of 18,000 but only 5 ordained priests. As a result of this appointment, he was consecrated to the episcopate 22 April 2006. Prior to this appointment, Valenzuela served as a high-profile missionary in Angola. Valenzuela was ordained a priest of the Salesians of Don Bosco in 1977.

Donald James Ross, or Don Ross, is a Canadian fingerstyle guitarist. He is the only person to win the National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship twice. His album Huron Street reached the top ten on the Billboard New-age chart.

Gyula Vantara is a Hungarian engineer and politician, who was elected mayor of Békéscsaba in the 2006 local elections. He was also member of the National Assembly (MP) for Békéscsaba from 2010 to 2018.
