Rudolf Schwarz was a German architect known for his work on Kirche St. Fronleichnam, Aachen. He also played a decisive part in the reconstruction of Cologne after the Second World War. He took a leading tole with Cologne's reconstruction authority between 1947 and 1952, contributing to the rebuilding of the city with some of his own designs. Among these is the Wallraf-Richartz Museum (1956), which now houses the Museum of Applied Art. He also reconstructed the pilgrimage church of Saint Anne in Düren, near Aachen, which is probably his most famous work.

Sukhdev Thapar was an Indian revolutionary. A senior member of the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association, he participated in several actions alongside Bhagat Singh and Shivaram Rajguru, and was hanged by the British authorities on 23 March 1931 at the age of 23.

Lawrence Sabatini, CS is an American retired bishop of the Catholic Church. Born and raised in Chicago, he felt a religious calling to join the priesthood during primary school. After completing school, he studied for the priesthood in Rome and joined the Scalabrinians upon returning to the United States. He was ordained a priest in 1957 and went on to teach at the institute's missions and the seminary on Staten Island for 11 years, before being sent to Canada in 1971.
