Bowness has been a head coach for the original Winnipeg Jets, Boston Bruins, Ottawa Senators, New York Islanders, and Phoenix Coyotes, and associate coach with the Vancouver Canucks and Tampa Bay Lightning.

Sarah Elizabeth Dunsworth-Nickerson is a Canadian actress who plays the character of Sarah in the Canadian television franchise Trailer Park Boys.
