Ján Figeľ is a Slovak politician. Figeľ served as European Commissioner from 2004 to 2009, then as Slovak minister of Transports from 2010 to 2012. From 2016 to 2019 he was European Commission special envoy for the promotion of freedom of religion outside the EU.

Anne Jemima Clough was an early English suffragist and a promoter of higher education for women. She was the first principal of Newnham College.

Ruslan Nikolaevich Goncharov is a Ukrainian ice dancer. With partner Elena Grushina, he is the 2006 Olympic bronze medalist, 2005 World bronze medalist, and two-time European silver medalist.

Lady Auriel Rosemary Malet Vaughan was a Welsh-born author of literary fiction and biographies, who wrote under the name of Oriel Malet. Among her works is a fictionalized biography of the Scottish child poet and writer Marjory Fleming and a volume charting her 30-year friendship with Daphne Du Maurier.
