Elizabeth Barchas Prelogar is an American attorney currently serving as solicitor general of the United States. She became solicitor general on October 28, 2021. She served as acting solicitor general from January 20, at the start of the Biden Administration, until President Biden sent her nomination to the U.S. Senate on August 11, 2021, when the terms of the Federal Vacancies Reform Act of 1998 prevented her from serving while the nomination is before the Senate.
LaMarr Hoyt
Dewey LaMarr Hoyt Jr. was an American professional baseball right-handed pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball for the Chicago White Sox and San Diego Padres from 1979 to 1986. He won the 1983 American League Cy Young Award and was an All-Star in 1985.

Donald Charles Alfred Crowhurst was a British businessman and amateur sailor who died while competing in the Sunday Times Golden Globe Race, a single-handed, round-the-world yacht race. Soon after starting the race, his ship began taking on water and he wrote it would probably sink in heavy seas. He secretly abandoned the race while reporting false positions, in an attempt to appear to complete a circumnavigation without actually doing so. His ship's log books, found after his disappearance, suggest that the stress he was under and an associated psychological deterioration possibly led to his suicide.
