Josef Schulz, also spelled Joseph Schultz, was a German soldier of the 714th Infantry Division stationed in German-occupied Serbia during World War II. He died in 1941, allegedly executed after refusing to take part in an execution of Partisans. The German High Command recorded him as killed in action. The plot of the Yugoslav short film Joseph Schultz (1973) is based on the incident. Based on a Bundesarchiv study, the incident was dismissed as a legend by many scholars in the 1990s.

Abdelwahed Radi is a Moroccan politician and current head of the Socialist Union of Popular Forces since November 2008. He was the President of the Assembly of Representatives of Morocco for two terms, from 1997 to 2007 and again from 2010 to 2011.

Abdullah bin Bakheet is a Saudi journalist and novelist. He was born in Riyadh and studied at King Saud University. Upon graduation in 1978, he started working as a journalist for periodicals like Al Yamamah magazine and Al Riyadh and Al Jazirah newspapers. As of 2011 he still wrote a regular column for Al Riyadh and is well known for his liberal views on topics such as women's rights and minority rights. He got into trouble with the Saudi morality police in 2005 when he was charged with spreading corruption and immorality through his writing.

Alejandro Bichir Batres is a Mexican actor and a member of the Bichir family. He is the husband of Maricruz Nájera, and the father of Odiseo, Demián and Bruno Bichir.
