Bibi Aisha is an Afghan woman whose mutilated face appeared on the cover of Time magazine in summer 2010.

Hamida al-Attas, born A'alia Ghanem, is the mother of Osama bin Laden. She came from a Syrian family of citrus farmers, with two brothers and another sister, living in two small coastal villages, Omraneya and Babryon, outside the port of Latakia. She grew up in a family of Alawites, an offshoot of Shia Islam. At age 22, she married Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden in Latakia in 1956 and moved to Saudi Arabia with her husband. She was the eleventh wife of Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden. Her husband had many wives and he divorced most of them, as having only four wives at once was in accordance with Muslim law. It has been reported that she was a concubine rather than wife of Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden. She was more cosmopolitan than Mohammed's first three Wahhabi Saudi wives.

Ahmet Alpay Nazikioğlu, better known simply as Alpay, is a Turkish singer. He began his musical career in 1960, and has experimented with a number of styles, from romantic folk to rock. He also has covered a number of French and Italian songs.

Romina Tejerina is an Argentine woman who was sentenced on June 10, 2005 to 14 years in prison for the murder of her newborn baby daughter. The baby was allegedly a product of a sexual abuse that Tejerina suffered but was too afraid to reveal.

Ibtisam Lutfi is a blind Saudi singer. She was born Khayriyyah Qurban in Ta'if in Saudi Arabia, and is one of the first female singers of that country. She began her career singing at wedding feasts in the city of Jeddah in the 1960s, and over the next two decades became famous in her native country as well as in Egypt. In a phone call with Al Arabiya channel in November 2013, she confirmed that she would be returning to her singing career.

Keiichi Sigsawa is a Japanese light novel author. In 2000, his work Kino's Journey was a finalist for the 6th Dengeki Novel Prize, and was subsequently serialized in Dengeki hp magazine in March of the same year, marking his debut. Kino's Journey proved popular, and has continued in serialization since that time.
