Asha Puthli is a singer-songwriter, producer, and actress born on February 4, 1945 and raised in Bombay, India. She has recorded solo albums for EMI, CBS/Sony, and RCA. Her recordings cover blues, pop, rock, soul, funk, disco, and techno and have been produced by Del Newman and Teo Macero.

Baron René Charles Reille-Soult-Dalmatie was a French soldier, industrialist and politician. He came from a wealthy military family with mining interests in the south of France. He served in the army until 1869, then went into national politics. He aligned with the right wing Bonapartist group during the French Second Republic.

Mimoun El Oujdi was a Moroccan singer raï genre of music. Like other Maghrebi raï singers, he is habitually given the title "Cheb" (الشاب), meaning "young", and is usually known as Cheb Mimoun El Oujdi. He was born Mimoun Bakoush in Oujda in 1950; Oujda is approximately fifteen kilometres from the Algerian border. Mimoun El Oujdi released 18 albums between 1982 and 2012, including Barmān (1985), Alamāne (1995) and Soulouh (2008). He died in November 2018.
