Henry Hubert Turner was an American endocrinologist, noted for his published description of Turner syndrome in 1938 at the annual meeting of the Association for the Study of Internal Secretions. He served as chief of endocrinology and as associate dean of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.

A. Marten Mendez (1916–1994) was an American badminton player of Mexican descent who won national titles and represented his country internationally in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Known for his swift court coverage and stamina, Mendez won the U.S. men's singles title in 1949, 1950, and 1952, and reached the final in 1948 and 1951. He was a member of the 1948-1949 and 1951-1952 U.S. Thomas Cup teams which made strong runs at the world championship. In the '51-'52 series, at the age of 36, Mendez won three of his four singles matches against India and Malaya in Singapore's equatorial heat, losing only to the great Wong Peng Soon. Mendez was elected to the U.S. Badminton Hall of Fame in 1967.

Benoît Delhomme is a French film cinematographer who has also worked in American and British films. He graduated from the École nationale supérieure Louis-Lumière in 1982. He was assistant cameraman on Jean de Florette and Manon des sources (1986) and became director of photography on feature films in the early 1990s. He was nominated for the César Award for Best Cinematography in 1998 for Artemisia. During the 2000s, he worked more and more for English-speaking movies. He won the Special Jury Prize at the International Film Festival Chicago 2001 for And there, what time is it? And the AFI Award for Best Cinematography in 2005 for The Proposition.

George Ivy Hunter, known as Ivy Jo Hunter, is a former R&B songwriter, record producer and singer, most associated with his work for Motown in the 1960s.
