Markus Büchel is a Swiss Roman Catholic bishop of Roman Catholic Diocese of Saint Gallen.

Simon Kuipers is a retired Dutch speed skater. He won a 1500 meters World Cup competitions on 3 December 2005. It was his first World Cup victory. He participated in two events at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, finishing 23rd in the 500 metres, and 4th in the 1500 metres, less than four-tenths of a second off the podium, as well as being the fastest Dutchman in that event. He officially retired in March 2012.

Song Nan is a Chinese former competitive figure skater. He is the 2014 Four Continents bronze medalist, the 2013 Winter Universiade champion, the 2010 World Junior silver medalist, a two-time senior Grand Prix medalist, and a three-time Chinese national champion.

Léon Jean Martinaud-Déplat was a French lawyer and Radical politician who was a deputy in 1932–36 and in 1951–56. He was Minister of Justice in 1952–53 and then Minister of the Interior in 1953–54. He was violently anti-communist, and was opposed to granting autonomy or independence of the North African colonies. His hard-line views caused him to be expelled from his party in 1955, and he failed to be reelected the next year.

William Tackaert is a Belgian former racing cyclist. He rode in five editions of the Tour de France between 1979 and 1983. He most notably won the 1983 E3 Harelbeke and the 1985 Kuurne–Brussels–Kuurne.

Bob McLeod is an American comics artist best known for co-creating the New Mutants with writer Chris Claremont.
