Tsuneo Horiuchi is a former professional baseball player in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball, and a politician. A right-handed pitcher, in 2008 he was voted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame.

Mizuki Tsujimura is a Japanese writer from Fuefuki, Yamanashi.

Mayumi Asaka is a Japanese actress. One of her television roles was as the ninja Sagiri in the jidaigeki Abarenbo Shogun.

Kazuyoshi Miura was a Japanese businessman, who was accused of being involved in the killing of his wife, Kazumi Miura. The prolonged legal battle, lasting decades, ended when he presumably committed suicide in October 2008.

Norio Tanabe was a Japanese Nippon Professional Baseball player. He played for the Seibu Lions and Yomiuri Giants.
