Carl-Olaf Homén
Carl-Olaf Homén is a Swedish-speaking Finnish attorney, sports administrator and a former Finnish defence minister. He has a really great grandson named Popi Homen. His son Christian Homen was also a grate middle distance runner.
Mikko Sirén
Apocalyptica is a Finnish symphonic metal band from Helsinki, formed in 1993. The band is composed of a trio of classically trained cellists Eicca Toppinen, Paavo Lötjönen, and Perttu Kivilaakso, and jazz drummer Mikko Sirén. Originally a classical-style Metallica tribute band, the band eventually adopted a neoclassical metal style without the use of conventional guitars and bass. They have sold over four million albums to date.

Tero Lehterä
Tero Juhani Lehterä is retired professional ice hockey player who played the majority of his career in the SM-liiga. He played for Tappara, Jokerit, HPK, and Espoo Blues. He also had stints in Elitserien, the IHL, Russia, Switzerland and Germany. He also won a bronze medal at the 1994 Winter Olympics and World Championship with Finland's 1995 Ice Hockey World Championships team.
Lauri Porra
Lauri Porra is a Finnish bass guitarist and a composer who has written scores for films and other media, as well as commissions from orchestras such as the Lahti Symphony and the Finnish Radio Symphony. He is also known for his work as the bass guitarist in Stratovarius. Porra is a fourth generation musician, and the great-grandson of famous Finnish composer Jean Sibelius.

Sami Yli-Sirniö is a Finnish musician. He is currently the lead guitarist of Finnish metal bands Waltari, Barren Earth and German thrash metal band Kreator. He spent part of his life in Germany and thus has strong ties with the German metal scene. German Rock Hard magazine featured him in 2007 as "forgotten guitar hero".
Sonja Pekkola
Sonja Pekkola is a Finnish badminton player. She started playing badminton since 10 years old at her hometown, then in 2012 she joined Finnish national badminton team. In 2013, she won Finnish national badminton championships in women's singles event, then in 2014 and 2015 she won Finnish national championships in women's doubles event. In 2016, she won Hellas Open tournament in women's doubles event with Jenny Nystrom.
Tuomas Planman
Tuomas Planman was the keyboardist for the Finnish Melodic death metal band Norther, until their break up in 2012; he also played in the black metal band Gramary.
