Edward Katumba Wamala, more commonly known as Katumba Wamala, is a Ugandan general who serves as Minister of Works and Transport in the Ugandan cabinet, since 14 December 2019.

Major General Kasirye Ggwanga, was a Ugandan military officer in the Uganda People's Defence Force. He was previously incarcerated as a prisoner of war for 897 days, inside both Uganda and Tanzania. He was a presidential advisor on Buganda Kingdom affairs. He was well respected for his fight towards environmental protection.

Cyprian Kizito Lwanga, is a Ugandan Roman Catholic prelate who serves as the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Kampala. He was appointed as Archbishop of Kampala on 19 August 2006.

Madina Nalwanga is a Ugandan actress famous for her lead role as Phiona in Disney's Queen of Katwe. The film depicts the life of Phiona Mutesi, a Ugandan girl living in a slum in Katwe who learns to play chess and becomes a Woman Candidate Master. This role earned her the Most Promising Actor award at 2017 Africa Movie Academy Awards in Lagos, Nigeria. She also won an NAACP Image Award, a Women Film Critics Circle Award, and was nominated for a Critic's Choice Award.

Savio Magala Nsereko is a Ugandan-born German footballer who plays as a forward or winger. He is currently at BSC Sendling.

Mayur Madhvani is an Ugandan businessman, entrepreneur, and industrialist of Indian-origin. He is a joint managing director of the Madhvani Group of Companies, headquartered in Kakira, Uganda, the third-largest economy in the East African Community.

Janet Kainembabazi Museveni is a Ugandan politician who has been the First Lady of Uganda since 1986. She is married to President Yoweri Museveni, with whom she has four children. She has been Cabinet Minister of Education and Sports in the Ugandan Cabinet, since 6 June 2016. She previously served as Minister for Karamoja Affairs in the Cabinet of Uganda from 27 May 2011 until 6 June 2016. She also served as the elected Member of Parliament representing Ruhaama County in Ntungamo District, between 2011 and 2016. She published her autobiography, My Life's Journey, in 2011.

Princess Elizabeth of Toro is the Batebe of the Kingdom of Toro. She is a Ugandan lawyer, politician, diplomat, and model. She was the first female East African to be admitted to the English Bar. She is a paternal aunt of the King of Toro, Rukidi IV. She briefly served as minister of foreign affairs under Idi Amin from February to November 1974.

Marcel Raymond Theroux is a British American novelist and broadcaster. He wrote A Stranger in The Earth and The Confessions of Mycroft Holmes: A Paper Chase, for which he won the Somerset Maugham Award in 2002.
