Lu Ping, born in Kaohsiung in 1953, is a Taiwanese writer who writes under the pen name “Ping Lu”. Her writing encompasses a broad range of genres, including novels, essays, poems, commentary, and theater plays. She is also known in the Chinese-language world for her critique of social phenomenon, ranging from cultural development to gender issues and human rights. Over the past two decades, Ms. Lu has successfully established herself as a prominent novelist, columnist, and commentator in Taiwan.

Christina Liu is a Taiwanese politician. She was first elected to the Legislative Yuan in 2001, and served until 2007. Subsequently, Liu led the Council for Economic Planning and Development from 2010 to 2012, when she was named finance minister. Liu left the finance ministry later that year and was appointed to the Hong Kong Economic Development Commission in 2013.

Chang Zhang-xing is best known for his roles as gangster in various Taiwanese films and television series. He began his acting career in 2007, and is best known for his performance in The Pace of Consciousness, an autobiographical film that he wrote, directed, and starred in. For this film, he also received the 33rd Golden Harvest Award for Best Actor. He is currently studying in the College of Creative Media in Kun Shan University.

Chen Hsueh-sheng is a Taiwanese politician. He was the Magistrate of Lienchiang County from 2001 to 2009, and has represented Lienchiang County in the Legislative Yuan since 2012.

Lin Yueh-ping is a Taiwanese baseball manager and former pitcher for the Uni-President Lions of the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL).

JerryC, also known by his English name Jerry Chang, is a Taiwanese guitarist and composer. He is known for arranging and playing "Canon Rock", a rock arrangement of Johann Pachelbel's Canon in D. He began playing the guitar at the age of 17, and the piano before age 15. His style is influenced by classical music, neoclassical guitarists, as well as metal bands such as Helloween and Metallica and Japanese rock bands such as B'z and L'Arc-en-Ciel.

Stan Shih, is the Co-founder & Honorary Chairman of Acer Inc. In 1976, after receiving bachelor's and master's degrees in electronic engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Shih founded Multitech with his wife Carolyn Yeh and five partners. Shih chaired Multitech through to 1987, when the company was renamed Acer, continuing as Acer chairman until his retirement in late 2004, having seen the company grow from a tiny start-up to a billion-dollar worldwide brand. Shih remained active in charity work during his retirement, including serving as Taiwan's Special Envoy in the APEC Australia 2007. In November 2013, Shih returned to Acer after being reinstated as president and chairman. He serves on the boards of Acer Inc., Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Nan Shan Life Insurance Co., Ltd., Taiwan Public Television Service Foundation and Chinese Television System. He is the Chairman of Cloud Gate Culture and Arts Foundation, the Head of Taiwan Connection Fun Club, One Song Orchestra Fun Club, the Convener of the Cultural Tech Alliance, Taiwan and the Chairman of CT Ambi Investment and Consulting Inc.

Lee Chun-yee is a Taiwanese politician. A member of the Democratic Progressive Party, he served in the Legislative Yuan from 1996 to 2012 as a representative of Tainan.
