Tanja Frieden
Tanja Frieden is a Swiss snowboarder. She won a gold medal in the inaugural Snowboard Cross competition at the 2006 Winter Olympics.
Sergio Ermotti
Sergio Pietro Ermotti is a Swiss investment banker and former stock trader. He was the chief executive officer (CEO) of UBS Group AG between November 2011 and November 2020. Ermotti is slated to succeed Walter Kielholz as the incoming chairman of Swiss Re, Switzerland's largest reinsurance company, in 2021. He previously served as the deputy chief executive for Italian bank UniCredit, from 2007 to 2010.
Alan Roura
Alan Roura is a Swiss professional sailor born on 26 February 1993 in Onex (Switzerland). At the age of 23, in the 2016–2017 Vendée Globe, he is the youngest competitor in the history of the event, of which he finished 12th. In 2019, on La Fabrique, the second Imoca of the name, he set a solo crossing of the North Atlantic on a 60-foot monohull crossing in a record time of 7 days, 16 hours, 58 minutes and 25 seconds he is currently competing in the 2020–2021 Vendée Globe.
Claude Nicollier
Claude Nicollier is the first astronaut from Switzerland. He has flown on four Space Shuttle missions. His first spaceflight (STS-46) was in 1992, and his final spaceflight (STS-103) was in 1999. He took part in two servicing missions to the Hubble Space Telescope. During his final spaceflight he participated in a spacewalk, becoming the first European Space Agency astronaut to do so during a Space Shuttle mission. In 2000 he was assigned to the Astronaut Office Extravehicular Activity Branch, while maintaining a position as Lead ESA Astronaut in Houston. Nicollier retired from ESA in April 2007.

Dumeng Giovanoli is a former Swiss alpine skier. In 1968, Giovanoli won the World Cup in Slalom. He also competed at the alpine skiing events at the 1964 and 1968 Winter Olympics.

Micheline Calmy-Rey
Micheline Anne-Marie Calmy-Rey is a Swiss politician who served as a Member of the Swiss Federal Council from 2003 to 2011. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SP/PS), she was the head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs during her tenure as a Federal Councillor. She was President of the Swiss Confederation twice, in 2007 and 2011.
