Kurt Seligmann
Kurt Leopold Seligmann (1900–1962) was a Swiss-American Surrealist painter and engraver. He was known for his fantastic imagery of medieval troubadors and knights in macabre rituals and inspired by the carnival held annually in his native Basel, Switzerland.
Linda Indergand
Linda Indergand is a Swiss racing cyclist. She rode at the 2014 UCI Road World Championships. She was on the start list of the 2018 Cross Country European Championships and finished in tenth place. On 27 July 2021, she won a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Her teammates, Jolanda Neff and Sina Frei, won the gold and silver medals, marking the first time there had been a Swiss podium at the Olympics since 1936 and the first time a nation won all three medals in a cycling event since 1904.

Mathias Seger
Mathias Seger is a Swiss former professional ice hockey defenceman who played for the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers and the ZSC Lions of the National League (NL). Seger began his professional career with SC Rapperswil-Jona in 1996. He played three seasons with Rapperswil-Jona before joining the Lions in 1999. With the Swiss men's national team he won a silver medal at the 2013 World Championships. Seger also won the 2009 Champions League as well as six National League titles, all with the ZSC Lions. He will be inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2020.
