Katarina Srebotnik is a professional tennis player from Slovenia. She reached her career-high singles ranking of world No. 20 on 7 August 2006. On 4 July 2011, she reached No. 1 of the WTA doubles rankings.
Anton Rop
Anton Rop is a Slovenian politician. Currently, he is a vice-president of European Investment Bank. He was the fourth Prime Minister of Slovenia, from 2002 to 2004. Until 2005 he was also the president of the Liberal Democratic Party, the legal successor of the Slovenian Association of Socialist Youth. On March 20, 2007, he left the party and joined the Social Democrats.
Margit Korondi
Margit Korondi is a Hungarian former gymnast. She competed at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, where she received a gold medal in uneven bars, a silver medal in team all-around, and four bronze medals. At the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, she received a gold medal in team portable apparatus and a silver medal in team all-around.
Borut Božič
Borut Božič is a Slovenian former professional road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2004 and 2018 for the Perutnina Ptuj, Team LPR, Cycle Collstrop, Vacansoleil–DCM, Astana, Cofidis and Bahrain–Merida teams. Considered a sprinter in the mold of Óscar Freire, Božič's career highlights include winning the 2007 Tour de Wallonie, victory in the first stage of the 2009 Tour de Pologne, winning the sixth stage of the 2009 Vuelta a España, and winning stage five of the 2011 Tour de Suisse. Božič worked as a directeur sportif for the Team Bahrain Victorious team up to October 2019 but in that month was issued with a 2-year ban for his links to the doping ring uncovered by Operation Aderlass.

Gregor Fučka is a Slovenian-Italian retired professional basketball player and coach. A 215 cm forward-center, he was a both a Mister Europa and Euroscar laureate in 2000.
Kristjan Fajt
Kristjan Fajt is a Slovenian racing cyclist, who last rode for UCI Continental team Adria Mobil. His only professional win to date came at the 2008 Tour of Qinghai Lake. He rode for Slovenia at the 2014 UCI Road World Championships.
Anton Stres
Anton Stres, C.M., was the Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Ljubljana and the metropolitan bishop of Ljubljana as well as the president of the Slovenian Bishops' Conference from January 2010 until July 2013. As Archbishop of Ljubljana he was also the Grand Chancellor of the Faculty of Theology of the University of Ljubljana.

Archbishop Marjan Turnšek is a Slovenian Roman Catholic prelate who served as the first Bishop of the newly created Diocese of Murska Sobota from 7 April 2006 until 28 November 2009, Coadjutor Archbishop of Archdiocese of Maribor from 28 November 2009 until 3 February 2011 and as an Archbishop of the same Archdiocese since 3 February 2011 until his resignation on 31 July 2013.
