Katalin Ladik
Katalin Ladik is a Hungarian poet, performance artist and actress. She was born in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia and in the last 20 years she has lived and worked alternately in Novi Sad, Serbia, in Budapest, Hungary and on the island of Hvar, Croatia. Parallel to her written poems she also creates sound poems and visual poems, performance art, writes and performs experimental music and audio plays. She is also a performer and an experimental artist. She explores language through visual and vocal expressions, as well as movement and gestures. Her work includes collages, photography, records, performances and happenings in both urban and natural environments.
Petar Stambolić
Petar Stambolić was a Serbian communist politician who served as the President of the Federal Executive Council of Yugoslavia from 1963 to 1967 and as President of the Presidency from 1982 until 1983.
Miroslav Josić Višnjić
Miroslav Josić Višnjić was a Serbian writer and poet. He won numerous literary prizes, most notably NIN Prize 1990 for his novel Odbrana i propast Bodroga u sedam burnih godišnjih doba and Andrić Award in 1998. He died at the age of 69.
Milan Spasić
Milan Spasić was a naval Lieutenant of the Royal Yugoslav Navy. During the April War, Spasić, along with his fellow Lieutenant Sergej Mašera, scuttled the destroyer Zagreb in the Bay of Kotor near Tivat to prevent it from falling into the hands of the Italian Royal Navy. Both Spasić and Mašera died in the scuttling.
Nikola Poplašen
Nikola Poplašen is a former Bosnian Serb politician and Chetnik Vojvoda. He was the president of Republika Srpska from late 1998 to 1999. He was removed by the High Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Carlos Westendorp, on 5 March 1999. The removal was enforced on 2 September 1999.
