Sergei Yervandovich Kurginyan is a Russian scientist, better known as a theatre producer and a politician. He is the founder and leader of the Russian nationalist movement Essence of Time.

Yulia Antonovna Putintseva is a Kazakh tennis player of Russian origin and descent. She is a three-time Grand Slam quarterfinalist, and she achieved her career-high singles ranking of world No. 27 in February 2017. So far, she has won one WTA singles title.

Yuriy Georgiyevich Sedykh is a retired Soviet track and field athlete who represented the Soviet Union, specialising in the hammer throw. Yuri Sergeyevich Entin is a Russian and Soviet poet, playwright, and lyricist who wrote screenplays and songs for various children's films including The Bremen Town Musicians (1969) and two sequels and Blue Puppy (1976), among others. He also wrote music with Bulat Okudzhava for the 1975 film The Adventures of Buratino.
