Robert Merkulov is a Russian former speed skater who competed for the Soviet Union in the 1956 Winter Olympics.

Tatyana Viktorovna Lysenko is a Russian hammer thrower. A two-time World Champion, her career has been blighted by repeated doping infractions. In February 2019, the Court of Arbitration for Sport handed her an eight-year ban for doping, starting from 2 July 2016.

Aleksandr Vladimirovich Tretyakov is a Russian skeleton rider. Tretyakov is Olympic champion (2014), World champion (2013), European champion (2007) as well as two-times winner of the Skeleton World Cup, which he won in 2008–09 and 2018–19.

Nadezhda Valeryevna Bazhina is a Russian diver. She won the 3 m springboard event at the 2010 European Aquatics Championships and at the 2014 European Aquatics Championship.

Yekaterina Vladimirovna Shikhova is a Russian speed skater. She won a team bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics, and an individual allround bronze medal at the 2013 World Championships.

Natalya Burdyga is a retired Russian (2001–2009) and Ukrainian (2010–2016) biathlete. In May 2015 she decided to retire, but in December 2015 she came back and performed at the Biathlon World Cup Stage #1 in Sweden. This was her last season - after it she announced about retirement due to family reasons.
