Johan Lundbye
Johan Thomas Lundbye was a Danish painter and graphic artist, known for his animal and landscape paintings. He was inspired by Niels Laurits Høyen's call to develop nationalistic art through depictions of Denmark's characteristic landscapes; the historical buildings and monuments, and the country's simple, rural people. He became one of his generation's national romantic painters, along with P. C. Skovgaard and Lorenz Frølich, to regularly depict the landscape of Zealand.
Hilmar Baunsgaard
Hilmar Tormod Ingolf Baunsgaard was a Danish politician. He was a member of the Danish Social Liberal Party and the party's leader from 1968 to 1975. He was the Prime Minister of Denmark from 15 February 1968 until 9 October 1971. He was preceded and succeeded by the Social Democratic leader of that time, Jens Otto Krag. Between 1948 and 1951 Baunsgaard had been chairman of The Social Liberal Youth of Denmark. In 1957 he became a Member of Parliament.
Absalon
Absalon was a Danish statesman and prelate of the Catholic Church who served as the bishop of Roskilde from 1158 to 1192 and archbishop of Lund from 1178 until his death. He was the foremost politician and church father of Denmark in the second half of the 12th century, and was the closest advisor of King Valdemar I of Denmark. He was a key figure in the Danish policies of territorial expansion in the Baltic Sea, Europeanization in close relationship with the Holy See, and reform in the relation between the Church and the public. He combined the ideals of Gregorian Reform with loyal support of a strong monarchical power.
