Agnes of Bohemia, O.S.C., also known as Agnes of Prague, was a medieval Bohemian princess who opted for a life of charity, mortification of the flesh and piety over a life of luxury and comfort. Although she was venerated soon after her death, Agnes was not beatified or canonized for over 700 years.

Carl Maria von Bocklet was a composer, pianist and teacher of music.

Karel Bořivoj Presl was a Czech botanist.

Jan Blažek was a Czech basketball player. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1972 Summer Olympics.

Josef Bohuslav Foerster was a Bohemian composer of classical music and musicologist. He is often referred to as J. B. Foerster, and his surname is sometimes spelled Förster.

Petr Jákl is a Czech judoka, actor and director. His father of the same name, Petr Jákl Sr, is also well-known.

Jiřina Bohdalová is a Czech actress. She began acting in theatre and film at an early age. She was accepted to The Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU) at her third attempt. She received an offer from Jan Werich to join the actor's troupe at Divadlo ABC theatre which she accepted. Later on, she performed in many other “City Theatres of Prague”. From 1967 to the present day she has a permanent engagement at the “Vinohrady Theatre”. Bohdalová has done extensive work as a voice actress, especially TV characters in various bed time stories, including “The Fairy-tales from Moss and Fern”, “The Little Reedman”, “The Little Witch”, “About the Pixie Racochejl”, etc. She has made numerous appearances in different fairy-tales, short stories, TV films, serials, plays and many programmes of her own.

Joseph Wenzel I was the Prince of Liechtenstein between 1712 and 1718, 1732 and 1745, and 1748 and 1772.
