Hans Sitt, was a Bohemian violinist, violist, teacher, and composer. During his lifetime, he was regarded as one of the foremost teachers of violin. Most of the orchestras and conservatories of Europe and North America then sported personnel who numbered among his students.

Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer was a Bohemian architect of the Baroque era. He was the fifth son of the German architect Christoph Dientzenhofer and the Bohemian German ethnics Maria Anna Aichbauer, the widow of the architect Johann Georg Achbauer the Elder, and a member of the well known Dientzenhofer family of architects. As an architect he co-operated with his father and with Jan Santini Aichel.

Jan Pavel Filipenský is a Czech actor. He is best known for his performances in XXX as Viktor and Alien vs. Predator as Boris.

Petr Gabriel is a Czech former football player. He played for the Czech Republic, for which he took part in eight matches and participated at the Euro 2000. In the decisive group stage match against France, he was rather unlucky, as he tried to make a backpass to his goalkeeper, which was picked up by Thierry Henry, who succeeded in scoring. The Czechs lost 2–1 and ended their participation in the tournament after the group stage despite a 2–0 victory in their last match against Denmark.
