Kate Foo Kune is a badminton player from Mauritius. She began playing badminton in Mauritius at age six. Her first major tournament participation was 2013 BWF World Championships in China, where she lost in the first round of women's singles to Sarah Walker of England. Foo Kune represented her country at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She was the flag bearer for Mauritius during the Parade of Nations.

Pravind Kumar Jugnauth is a Mauritian politician who is the Prime Minister of Mauritius. He has been the leader of the Militant Socialist Movement (MSM) party since April 2003. He has held a number of ministerial portfolios and also been Leader of the Opposition.

Sarojini Ballah, The Right Honorable Lady Jugnauth, a former Spouse of the Prime Minister of Mauritius is the wife of Sir Anerood Jugnauth. She previously held the position from 1982 to 1995 and from 2000 to 2003, most recent from 2014 to 2017. She was the First Lady of Mauritius from 2003 to 2012 when her husband served as President of the country. She is a primary school teacher by profession and is the mother of Shalini Malhotra and Pravind Jugnauth.

Denis Constantin is a former Mauritian badminton player, and later represented Australia. He was the men's singles gold medallist at the 2000 African Championships, and in the men's doubles event partnered with Eddy Clarisse. He then defend the men's doubles gold in 2002 partnered with Stephan Beeharry. Constantin competed for Mauritius at the 1998, and 2002 Commonwealth Games, also at the 2000 Summer Olympics. He was awarded Athlete of the Month by the Mauritius Sports Council in June 2001. Constantin graduated from the La Trobe University in Melbourne, and now work as physiotherapists.

Jacques Michel Stephan Beeharry is a Mauritian badminton player. He competed at the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics, also at the 1998, 2002, 2006 and 2010 Commonwealth Games. Beeharry was the bronze medalists at the 2003 All-Africa Games in the men's singles, doubles, and team events.

Georges Julien Paul is a Mauritian badminton player. Paul took part at the 2014 African Youth Games, and won three gold medals in the individual event. He was part of the national team that won the gold medal at the 2015 African Games. Paul won the men's singles title at the 2018 and 2020 African Championships.
