Chen Hao is a politician of the People's Republic of China, serving since 2016 as Communist Party Secretary of Yunnan province. He was formerly Governor of Yunnan and vice-chairman of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions.

Xiong Dun (熊頓) was the pen-name of Xiang Yao (項瑤), a Chinese cartoonist, who documented her own experience with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma in her web comic Go to the Devil, Mr. Tumor. Her story was later adapted into a Chinese film, Go Away Mr. Tumor (2015).

Sara Liu Xijun, is a Chinese pop singer who rose to fame through televised singing competitions. Born April 30, 1988 in Shenzhen, Guangdong of Hakka Meixian ancestry, she began as a singer by ranking fifth in the fourth season (2009) of a singing contest in China, Super Girls, or Happy Girl.

Wang Guodong was a Chinese painter, known for his giant portraits of Mao Zedong hung on the Tiananmen in Beijing, which are among the world's most recognizable images.

Yu Xiaohan is a retired badminton player from China. She won the 2015 Singapore Super Series with Ou Dongni. Yu was suspended for 7 months by BWF because one of her sample during 2015 Summer Universiade contained sibutramine. She announced her retirement through her personal social media Weibo on 13 October 2019, where before, she had given a resignation letter to the coach on 30 September 2019.

Jiang Zhipeng is a Chinese footballer who currently plays for Shenzhen in the Chinese Super League.

Ling Zhengce is a former Chinese politician from Shanxi province. From 2008 to 2014 Ling served as the vice-chairman of the Shanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and prior to that the director of Shanxi Development and Reform Commission. Alongside Ling Jihua, he was removed from office in 2014 and charged with corruption, bribery, and graft. Ling Zhengce was then sentenced to twelve and a half years in prison.

Li Aizhen is a Chinese scientist at Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, affiliated to Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). An expert in semiconductor material, she was elected a foreign associate of the United States National Academy of Science in 2007.

Liang Xiang was a politician of the People's Republic of China. He was originally from the city of Kaiping, in Guangdong province. He graduated from Beijing Normal University, and was a representative in the fifth, sixth, and seventh National People's Congresses.

Liang Yan is a Chinese volleyball player, who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics.
