Shen Baozhen (1820–1879), formerly romanized Shen Pao-chen, was an official during the Qing dynasty.

Chen Shiju was an important political aide for China's former leader Hu Jintao. Chen served as Hu's secretary beginning in Guizhou 1986. Chen was the director of Hu Jintao's Office in 2002–2012. Chen currently serves as deputy director of the General Office of the Communist Party of China. In 2015 he hold a concurrent post on Deputy Director of the CPC Central Guidance Committee on Ethical and Cultural Construction.

He pioneered the general theory of three-dimensional flow for turbomachinery, which has been widely used in aircraft engine designs. Wu and his wife Li Minhua were both academicians of the CAS.
