Sima Hui, courtesy name Decao and pseudonym Shuijing, was a hermit who lived during the late Eastern Han dynasty of China.

Jin Yuzhang is a Chinese civil servant, politician and former nobleman. Yuzhang is an heir to the Qing emperors of China, and the current nominal head of House Aisin Gioro, the former ruling noble house of Qing dynasty China.

Wang Xudong is the curator of the Palace Museum since 8 April 2019. Previously he served as director of Dunhuang Research Academy. He is an alternate member of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

Jiang Ji, courtesy name Zitong, was an official and military general of the state of Cao Wei during the Three Kingdoms period of China. Born in the late Eastern Han dynasty, Jiang Ji started his career as a low-level official in his native Yang Province before becoming a subordinate of Cao Cao, the warlord who controlled the central government towards the end of the Eastern Han dynasty. After the end of the Eastern Han dynasty, he served in the state of Cao Wei through the reigns of the first three emperors – Cao Pi, Cao Rui and Cao Fang – and held various appointments in the military before rising to Grand Commandant, one of the top positions in the central government. During his service in Wei, he was known for being candid in giving advice to the emperor on various issues, including consolidating power, halting labour-intensive construction projects, and officials' abuses of power. In February 249, he joined the regent Sima Yi in staging a successful coup d'état against his co-regent Cao Shuang, but died from illness a few months later.

Yu Youren ; was an educator, scholar, calligrapher, and politician in the Republic of China.

He Yong is a Chinese rock musician who has been particularly active in the 1980s and 1990s. A self-styled punk, He Yong's lyrics and outspoken nature have made him controversial in mainland China and Hong Kong. His only album, Garbage Dump, exemplified his negative, though often nostalgic perspective toward life. He is regarded as one of the pioneers of Chinese rock.

Liu Yazi was a Chinese poet and political activist called the "last outstanding poet of the traditional school." He married Zheng Peiyi in 1906, and was the father of two daughters, Liu Wufei and Liu Wugou, and of a son, Liu Wu-chi, a literary scholar.

"Charley" Song Lin is a former Chinese business executive. At the pinnacle of his career, he served as the Board Chairman and Party Committee Secretary of China Resources, a state-owned conglomerate with interests in the beverages, consumer goods, and food industries. He was also the Chairman of China Resources Shenzhen International Trust, and Harvest Capital Partners, an asset management and investment subsidiary of China Resources.

Mazu Daoyi (709–788) was an influential abbot of Chan Buddhism during the Tang dynasty. The earliest recorded use of the term "Chan school" is from his Extensive Records. Master Ma's teaching style of "strange words and extraordinary actions" became paradigmatic Zen lore.

Han Ji, courtesy name Gongzhi, was a government official who served in the state of Cao Wei during the Three Kingdoms period of China. He previously served under the warlords Liu Biao and Cao Cao during the late Eastern Han dynasty.
