Peng Qinghua is a politician of the People's Republic of China. He is the current Communist Party Chief of Sichuan since March 2018, and was formerly the director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Communist Party Chief of Guangxi.

Zhang Mo is a female Chinese-born table tennis player who now represents Canada. She was born in Shijiazhuang, and currently resides in Vancouver.

Ma Kai was one of the four Vice Premiers of China (Fourth-ranked). He was formerly a State Councilor and Secretary General of the State Council of China.

Li Jingjing is a Chinese slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 2002 to 2013. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, she was eliminated in the qualifying round of the K1 event, finishing in 18th place. Four years later in Beijing, Li was eliminated in the semifinals of the same event. She was classified in 13th place. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London she was once again eliminated in the semifinal of the K1 event, finishing in 11th place.

Yunti, born Yinzhen and also known as Yinti before 1722, formally known as Prince Xun, was a Manchu prince and military general of the Qing dynasty.

Song Yingxing was a Chinese scientist and encyclopedist who lived during the late Ming Dynasty (1368–1644). He was the author of Tiangong Kaiwu, an encyclopedia that covered a wide variety of technical subjects, including the use of gunpowder weapons. The British sinologist and historian Joseph Needham called Song Yingxing "The Diderot of China."

Gu Yanwu, also known as Gu Tinglin, was a Chinese philologist, geographer, and famous scholar-official in Qing dynasty. He spent his youth during the Manchu conquest of China in anti-Manchu activities after the Ming dynasty had been overthrown. He never served the Qing dynasty. Instead, he traveled throughout the country and devoted himself to studies.

Yan Shunkai was a Chinese comedian, actor and film director.

Shek Wing-cheung, better known by his stage name Shih Kien, Sek Kin, or Sek Gin, was a Hong Kong–based Chinese actor. Shih is best known for playing antagonists and villains in several early Hong Kong wuxia and martial arts films that dated back to the black-and-white period, and is most familiar to Western audiences for his portrayal of the primary villain, Han, in the 1973 martial arts film Enter the Dragon, which starred Bruce Lee.

Mei Shaowu was a Chinese translator, author and scholar who was honorary president of the Mei Lanfang Memorial Hall (梅兰芳纪念馆) and president of the Mei Lanfang Literature and Art Research Association (梅兰芳文化艺术研究会). He also was a researcher in the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
