Chen Xingdong
Chen Xingdong is a Chinese former badminton player. He competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics in the mixed doubles event together with his partner Peng Xinyong. Chen was part of the Sichuan Sports Technology College team since 1984 and retired from the international tournament in 1997. In 1998, he was selected as a coach in Sichuan Province team and at the same year he join national team as a men's team coach. In early 2000, he focused as a mixed doubles coach.

Chen Jianhua is a Chinese politician who currently serves as Chairman of the Guangzhou People's Congress. He formerly served as Mayor of Guangzhou. Chen was appointed acting mayor on 20 November 2011 following the resignation of Wan Qingliang, and elected mayor on 11 January 2012.
Zhang Junsheng
Zhang Junsheng was a Chinese optical engineer, politician, and academic administrator. He spent 25 years as an engineering professor at Zhejiang University and won two national science and technology awards, before entering politics and being sent to Hong Kong in 1985 to prepare for the British colony's return to China. During his tenure as Beijing's chief spokesman in Hong Kong, he fiercely clashed with Chris Patten, the last British governor in Hong Kong, over the latter's effort to implement political reforms over Beijing's objection. Their public dispute dominated news headlines in Hong Kong. After the transfer of sovereignty over Hong Kong on 1 July 1997, Zhang returned to Zhejiang University to serve as its Party Secretary. He oversaw the school's merger with three other universities and used his Hong Kong connections to raise funds for the university.

Zhang Yi
Zhang Yi is a former Chinese badminton player. In 1997, he reached the final at the Asian Junior Championships in the boys' doubles event partnered with Cai Yun, beating their compatriots Xia Xuanze and Chen Hong in the semifinals with the straight games, but they lost to Malaysian paired in the final. In 2005, he compete in the men's singles main draw at the All England Open after won three match in the qualification round. Born in Guangdong, Zhang had won the mixed doubles titles at the 2007 Hungarian International, 2008 Austrian and Portugal International, also at the 2009 Estonian International.
