Zhao Hongbo is a Chinese retired pair skater. With his wife Shen Xue, Zhao is the 2010 Olympic champion, the 2002 & 2006 Olympic bronze medalist, a three-time World champion, a three-time Four Continents Champion and a six-time Grand Prix Final champion.

Chen Yuekun is a Chinese male badminton player, winner of the Macau and Vietnam opens.

Hong Chen is a Chinese singer who finished as the runner-up in 2011 Super Girl television singing contest.

Zhang Wei is a former Chinese badminton player. Zhang was selected to join the national team in 1997. He played in the men's doubles event partnered with Zhang Jun. He participated in four consecutive Sudirman Cup, winning 3 gold medals in 1999, 2001, 2005, and a silver medal in 2003. He and Zhang Jun was qualified to compete at the 2000 Summer Olympics, but because of the injury on his left abdominal muscles while doing the exercises, he missed the event. He retired from the national team in 2005, and started to playing in Denmark. He returned to Shanghai in 2007, and star coaching the Shanghai team. He also competed for Shanghai at the 2009 National Games.

Zhang Ni, courtesy name Boqi, was a military general of the state of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period of China. Famous for his courage and generosity, Zhang Ni made his name known while rescuing a magistrate's wife from bandits and leading her to safety. Often working with Ma Zhong He was instrumental in pacifying the indigenous tribes residing within and around the border of Shu. He spent at least 18 years dealing with the continuum of domestic uprisings around Yuexi/Yuesui and Ba commanderies though he was a talented general, Zhang Ni often looked for humane solutions and sought to make peace or negotiate with foreign tribes when he could. Thanks to his upright attitude, those tribes loved him, weeping and grabbing hold of his carriage when they learned he would be leaving.

Zhang Shuang is a Chinese long-track speed skater. She competed for China at the 2010 Winter Olympics in the women's 500 m.
