Derek Antony Parfit was a British philosopher who specialised in personal identity, rationality, and ethics. He is widely considered one of the most important and influential moral philosophers of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.

Xu Qiliang is an air force general in the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) of the People's Republic of China. He currently serves as Vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, and was Commander of the PLAAF from 2007 to 2012.

Vivian Qu is a Chinese film director, screenwriter and producer who directed the award-winning 2013 film Trap Street. She also produced Night Train, released in 2007, Knitting, in 2008 and Black Coal, Thin Ice in 2014, which won that year's Golden Bear Award at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Xiong Naijin is a Chinese actress. She is best known for her roles as Zhou Jiamin on How Much Sorrow Do You Have, Princess Weichang on The Prince of Han Dynasty Part 3: Iron Blood and the Pages of History and Cong Hui on Ice and Fire of Youth, and has also starred in a number of films, including The First President, Tai Chi 0, Tai Chi Hero, The Deathday Party, and Ex-Files.

Gong Linna is a Chinese fusion singer. Her style is one which combines the traditional "lightness" and "ch'i" of centuries-old melodies with new lyrics. She has performed many pieces composed or arranged by her husband, German composer Robert Zollitsch who is known in Chinese as Lao Luo (老锣), and collaborated with Portuguese fado musician António Chainho.
