Henry Marie Joseph Frédéric Expedite Millon de Montherlant was a French essayist, novelist, and dramatist. He was elected to the Académie française in 1960.
François Cavanna
François Cavanna was a French author and satirical newspaper editor. He contributed to the creation and success of Hara-Kiri and Charlie Hebdo. He wrote in a variety of genres including reportage, satire, essays, novels, autobiography and humor. He also translated six books about famous cartoonists.
Inès de Bourgoing
Inès-Marie de Bourgoing, also Inès Fortoul, Inès Lyautey, was a pioneering French nurse who served as president of the French Red Cross and established Red Cross nursing in Morocco. In recognition of her extensive social work, she became the first woman to be honoured with the rank of Grand Officer of the Legion of Honour. She was also decorated as a Grand Officer of the Order of Ouissam Alaouite in recognition of her work in Morocco.
Alexia Sedykh
Alexia Sedykh is a French athlete specialising in the hammer throw. She is the daughter of the current world record holder in the men's hammer throw, Yuriy Sedykh and the current world record holder in the women's shot put, Natalya Lisovskaya, both of whom won Olympic gold medals in their disciplines. She is the reigning Youth Olympic Games champion in the girls' hammer throw, having won the inaugural event in Singapore.
