Miroslav Krobot is a Czech theatre director and actor. He starred in the film The Man from London, which was entered into the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.

Jiří Dopita is former Czech professional ice hockey player, and currently hockey coach. He has played in the Czech Elite League most of his career. He briefly played in the National Hockey League. Dopita has primarily played center throughout his career.

Karel Brückner is a Czech retired football coach.

Luboš Kohoutek is a Czech astronomer and a discoverer of minor planets and comets, including Comet Kohoutek which was visible to the naked eye in 1973. He also discovered a large number of planetary nebulae.

Alois Kaňkovský is a Czech professional cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team Elkov–Kasper. At the 2007 UCI Track Cycling World Championships, he became world champion in the omnium event and also won a bronze medal in the madison.
