Gayla Rienette Peevey is a former singer and child star from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her family moved to Ponca City, Oklahoma, in 1948. She is best known for her recording, under her maiden name Gayla Peevey, of "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas". Peevey recorded the novelty song when she was 10 years old.

Saginaw Morgan Grant was a Native American character actor best known for The Lone Ranger, The World's Fastest Indian, Community and Breaking Bad. He was an award-winning musician, Pow Wow dancer, motivational speaker and the Hereditary Chief of the Sac and Fox Nation.

Mariah Cheyenne Bell is an American figure skater. She is the 2020 U.S. national silver medalist and two-time U.S. national bronze medalist. She is also the 2020 Skate America gold medalist, 2016 Skate America silver medalist, the 2019 Internationaux de France bronze medalist, the 2019 Rostelecom Cup bronze medalist, the 2019 CS Nebelhorn Trophy champion, and the 2016 CS U.S. International Classic silver medalist. John Richard Erdman was an American character actor and occasional film and television director. He appeared in more than 160 films, and television productions between 1944 and 2017, mostly in supporting roles. He is most known for his roles in the classic films, Stalag 17 (1953), and Tora! Tora! Tora! (1970). In his final years, Erdman found renewed fame through his portrayal of Leonard in the critically acclaimed comedy series Community (2009–2015).

Hanson is an American pop rock band from Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States, formed by brothers Isaac, Taylor and Zac. Supporting members include Dimitrius Collins (guitar), and Andrew Perusi (bass) who have toured and performed live with the band since 2007. They are best known for the 1997 hit song "MMMBop" from their debut album released through Mercury/Polygram Records, entitled Middle of Nowhere, which earned three Grammy nominations. The group's label Mercury Records was merged with its sister labels and the band was moved to Island Def Jam Music Group. After releasing one album on Island Def Jam, the label and the group parted ways. Hanson has sold over 16 million records worldwide and have had three Top 20 albums in the US. They have had three Top 20 US Hot 100 singles and eight UK Top 20 singles. The band now records under its own independent record label, 3CG Records.

Joy Harjo is an American poet, musician, playwright, and author. She is the incumbent United States Poet Laureate, the first Native American to hold that honor. She is also only the second Poet Laureate Consultant in Poetry to serve three terms. Harjo is a member of the Muscogee Nation and belongs to Oce Vpofv. She is an important figure in the second wave of the literary Native American Renaissance of the late 20th century. She studied at the Institute of American Indian Arts, completed her undergraduate degree at University of New Mexico in 1976, and earned an MFA at the University of Iowa in its creative writing program.
