Jarle Pedersen
Jarle Pedersen is a retired Norwegian speed skater and the current coach of the Norwegian speed skating team. He is from Kåfjord in Alta, Finnmark, but resides in Os outside Bergen.
Sten Stensen
Sten Einar Stensen is a former speed skater. Together with Amund Sjøbrend, Kay Stenshjemmet, and Jan Egil Storholt, he was one of the legendary four S-es, contemporary Norwegian top skaters in the 1970s and early 1980s. Stensen excelled at the longer distances, especially the 5,000 m and 10,000 m, and set two world records. He was World Allround Champion in 1974 and European Allround Champion in 1975. He also won Olympic gold on the 5,000 m in Innsbruck in 1976. For his accomplishments, he received the Oscar Mathisen Award in 1974 and 1976.
Lasse Sætre
Lasse Sætre is a former speed skater from Norway, who for several years was among the world's best long distance skaters. Sætre who grew up in Nord-Odal competed in the 1998, 2002 and 2006 Olympics, and won a 10,000-m bronze in the 2002 Winter Olympics. He won another 10,000-m bronze in the 2003 World Single Distance Championships. As of December 2006, only seven skaters in the world have 10,000-m results below 13 minutes, and Sætre has twice achieved such results. His personal bests are 38.15, 1:49.36, 6:17.60 and 12:56.85. Sætre is currently one of only four skaters to have skated the 10,000m more than once in a time of under 13 minutes, along with Chad Hedrick, Sven Kramer and Carl Verheijen, and among those four was the second to achieve it.

Anne Enger, formerly Anne Enger Lahnstein is a Norwegian politician who served as County Governor of Østfold from 2004 until 2015, and Leader of the Centre Party from 1991 to 1999 with opposition to the European Union. She was the front person of the successful "No to EU" campaign at the 1994 referendum. She was also the leader in the campaign against abortion on demand in Norway in the late 1970s.
