Pierre Assouline is a French writer and journalist. He was born in Casablanca, Morocco to a Jewish family. He has published several novels and biographies, and also contributes articles for the print media and broadcasts for radio.

Said Naciri is a Moroccan actor, comedian and producer. He attended EU Business School, and then attained his PhD in Morocco. He has appeared in a number of Moroccan TV programs and feature films.

Omar Balafej is a Moroccan politician, member of the Moroccan parliament since 2016, representing his hometown Rabat, and one of two members of Unified Socialist Party sitting currently in the parliament. Saïd Aouita is a former Moroccan track and field athlete. He won the 5000 meters at the 1984 Summer Olympics and the 1987 World Championships in Athletics, as well as the 3000 meters at the 1989 IAAF World Indoor Championships. He is a former world record holder over 1500 metres (3:29.46), 2000 m (4:50.80), 3000 m (7:29.45), and twice at 5000 m. He lives in Orlando, Florida.

Princess Lalla Latifa Amahzoune is the widow of King Hassan II and the mother of Princess Lalla Meryem, King Mohammed VI, Princess Lalla Asma, Princess Lalla Hasna and Prince Moulay Rachid. She is referred to using terms such as "mother of the royal children". The privacy accorded to her in Morocco is so great that attempts to publish photos of her in the Moroccan newspaper Al Ayam were found to violate Moroccan law.
