Earlier, he was the Bill Farrell Memorial International champion and a Final X contestant in 2019, and is a three-time consecutive age-group World Champion, once as a junior and twice as a cadet.

Between 2015 and 2017, he appeared as a "Guest Shark" on ABC's Shark Tank. In early 2017, Sacca announced that he was retiring from venture investing.
