He won several Big Ten conference awards and was named a finalist for the Maxwell Award and Heisman Trophy. Haskins was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, but was released after less than two seasons due to inefficient play and not meeting the team's standards off the field.
