Lois Jane Frankel is an American politician and lawyer who has been the United States Representative for Florida's 21st congressional district since 2017 and who represented Florida's 22nd congressional district from 2013 to 2017. She is a member of the Democratic Party.

Herman Perry was an African-American soldier serving in the U.S. Army during World War II, who deserted after killing an unarmed, white lieutenant attempting an arrest on him. After being sentenced to death, he escaped custody, and a man-hunt was launched while he lived in the jungle. Perry was eventually re-captured and once again court-martialed, later hanged for murder and desertion, making him the only American executed in the China Burma India Theater during World War II.
