Stefan Mazurkiewicz
Stefan Mazurkiewicz was a Polish mathematician who worked in mathematical analysis, topology, and probability. He was a student of Wacław Sierpiński and a member of the Polish Academy of Learning (PAU). His students included Karol Borsuk, Bronisław Knaster, Kazimierz Kuratowski, Stanisław Saks, and Antoni Zygmund. For a time Mazurkiewicz was a professor at the University of Paris; however, he spent most of his career as a professor at the University of Warsaw.

Dariusz Adam Wolski is a Polish film and music video cinematographer. He is known for his work as the cinematographer on the Pirates of the Caribbean film series and on Alex Proyas' cult classics The Crow and Dark City. Many of his collaborations include working with film directors like Ridley Scott, Rob Marshall, Tony Scott, Gore Verbinski and Tim Burton. He has been a member of the American Society of Cinematographers since 1996 and a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences since 2004. Jorge Zalszupin was a Polish-Brazilian architect and designer noted for modern design. He was born in Warsaw, Poland. In the 1950s Zalszupin founded L'Atelier, a furniture design manufacturer in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Zalszupin's one-off designs were included by Oscar Niemeyer in the Palácio da Alvorada and the Palácio do Planalto.
