Georg Gärtner was a German soldier of World War II who escaped from a prisoner of war camp in the United States, took on a new identity as Dennis F. Whiles, and was never recaptured, though he did reveal his true identity some 40 years later.
Mateusz Morawiecki
Mateusz Jakub Morawiecki is a Polish economist, historian, and politician who has been the Prime Minister of Poland since December 2017. He previously served in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Beata Szydło as Deputy Prime Minister from 2015 to 2017, Minister of Finance from 2016 to 2018, and Minister of Development between 2015 and 2018. Prior to his political appointment, Morawiecki had an extensive business career.
Wilhelm Kube
Wilhelm Kube was a Nazi official and German politician. He was an important figure in the German Christian movement during the early years of Nazi rule. During the war he became a senior official in the occupying government of the Soviet Union, achieving the rank of Generalkommissar for Weissruthenien (Belarus). He was assassinated in Minsk in 1943, triggering brutal reprisals against the citizens of Minsk.

Joachim Meisner was a German cardinal of the Catholic Church. He was the immediate past Archbishop of Cologne, serving from 1989 until his resignation was accepted by Pope Francis in 2014. He previously served as Bishop of Berlin from 1980 to 1989, and was created a cardinal in 1983. He was widely considered to be Germany's leading conservative Roman Catholic figure.
